Political Action

It is an illusion that individual action cannot change the world.  It is the sacrifice and commitment of thousands of nameless faceless men and women who seemed to have given up their freedoms and comfort for a cause that would not come to be during their lifetime who build the passionate momentum which eventually changes the direction in which we travel.

Political Action:

Political action involves, but is not limited to the following measures:

  1. Write or call your representatives in Congress
  2. No!  Politely harass and harangue your representatives in Congress.  Don't let them forget for a second what it is we expect of them.  Together we can inundate them with letters and phone calls.
  3. Use your power of the vote to remove representatives that do not have our interests at heart.
  4. Support local initiatives that promote Clean, and Alternatives energy solutions.
  5. Work to elect local progressive candidates who support and promote these initiatives.
  6. Help start neighborlhood clean energy initiatives.
  7. Your dollars make a political statement everytime you buy something. Think about what you are suppporting as you spend.
